10 Incredible Aftermarket Wheels That Can Make Your Ride Look Amazing
1. Rota Grid
These silver Rotas look just right on a Mazda MX-5. The wide spokes look uncluttered and the low-profile tyres on this example work well. Plus, they’re nicely dished at the rear. Who doesn’t love a bit of dishing?
These wheels look awesome on pretty much any car; from Subaru Imprezas to Volkswagen Sciroccos. They’re the Swiss Army Knife of rims.
2. OZ Ultraleggera
The dark grey finish to these rims mean they’d suit pretty much any car out there, and you can’t go wrong with the gorgeous multi-spoke design.
3. ATS Classic
These ATS Classics would look perfect on a Mk2 or Mk1 VW Golf. The contrasting black centres and chrome rims look great together.
4. BBS E88 CL
BBS wheels are the usual go-to rim with most people knowing what they are and the types of styles they come in. But that doesn’t stop them from looking incredible. These ‘E88 CL’ splits, with contrasting gold and chrome, are a good choice, especially with a set of red callipers hiding just behind them.
5. EXIP Mega
Rim designs can sometimes be rather similar across different manufacturers. But these wheels are like no others, and they look brilliant on this Mk2 Golf. They could have come straight out of ‘Tron,’ and that’s no bad thing. The only thing is that they look a little like pac-man, but that’s cool, if you ask us.
6. Enkei WRC Tarmac Evo
These Enkei’s are incredibly rare, having been made for Mitsubishi rally use, which makes them very special when put on a road car. They also look great in white with the blue Enkei branding. Because rally car.
7. Hayashi Command 800
These rims look a little like a bigger version of the ATS Classics. They’re nice and simple, which means they’ll leave the look of the car they go on relatively uncluttered, as can happen with some more intricately designed wheels.
8. Work Meister S1 3P
These wheels look astonishing in white, especially with the polished lip that mirrors the bolts. This was a pretty popular rim in our recent discuss post about aftermarket rims, and we can see why. You just wouldn’t want to kerb them…
9. Volk Rays TE37
These Volk rims would compliment a huge range of cars, but if it was us, we’d like to see them on a Nissan Skyline. The bronze colour like the one in the photo above is great, as is the simple six-spoke design.
10. Steel wheels
It’s not an obvious choice, but a lot of you plumped for steelies as your choice of rim. We can see your point; they look great in any colour and they suit pretty much anything. Sure, the ones in the photo have got fairly gigantic winter tyres on them, but that’s the great thing about steel wheels; they’re suitable for so many different situations.
Think there are any that we’ve missed out? Then add them to the discuss page.
