This Drifty First Corner Overtake Is One Of The Best We’ve Ever Seen
Kevin Eriksson treated us to one of the greatest first corner overtakes motorsport has ever seen with a stunning pass around the outside at the FIA World Rallycross supercar final in Germany
Eriksson went on to win the Germany RX race, having started from the second row of the grid and swept around three of his competitors at the first corner with this downright insane overtaking move.
Meanwhile Mattias Ekstrom did enough with fifth place to win the World Rallycross 2016 title, with one round of the season still to go.

And who said drifting was the slowest way around a corner?

That’s because it’s on dirt. It would’ve looked different on asphalt.
