2000 Mazda MX-5 NB Miracle 1.9

Just recently bought,
my ‘new’ 00’ Miata Miracle, called ‘Nimbus’
A little bit rough around the edges, but nothing a few weekends of work in the bodyshop cannot fix.

Miracle Special Edition, including a 6-Speed close ratio gearbox, Torsen Limited Slip Diff and Cream Leather Interior.

Packing a 1840ccm ‘1.9’ Engine with 140hp and 162nm.
Kerb weight of 1100kg / 2425lbs.
105k miles/180kkm on the clock, and no rust (surprisingly ikr)

Mods already done by the previous Owner
(an enthusiast, who went to great lenghts to maintain the car):

  • 15” OZ Ultraleggera Wheels
  • 200 Cell Catalysator + Fox Backbox
  • Koni Springs on Bilstein Shocks
  • Front Strut tower bar

What I plan to do (not much as the car is almost perfect):

  • fix the upholstery or OEM Miata semibuckets
  • some tlc
  • OEM front airdam
  • Hard Dog Ace Bar
  • (maybe) front licenseplate relocation to drivers side

Stoked to finally own a MX5, picking it up soon, but need to get my old car sold before I start driving it

Well, you have to search. I visited 6 Miatas before and traveled over 2500km. Only that one was good, you never know with those. 5k€ cars can be in the same condition as 2.5k€ Cars, and people will still buy. Also, in most cases 2K will get you a rusty one with brown death on the whole lower part of the car
