Another month, another look back at the greatest projects in Forge's history, and this time it's the turn of the frankly epic Forge Motorsport Berg Cup VW Golf Mk1 The Germans, as you might have noticed, don’t do things by halves, and this has never been truer then when in reference to their hillclimbs. Hillclimbing has a long and rich history in the UK of course, but the Germans have taken the sport several stages further, and the jewel in the European hillclimb crown is undoubtedly The Berg Cup, a celebration of all things bonkers and stupidly powerful.

Little bit of history. The first generation Honda Civic is an automobile which was produced by Honda in Japan from July 1972 to 1979. Honda began selling the 1169 cc (70 in³) transversely mounted inline-four engine Civic for about US$2,200. The Civic was the first Honda car to be sold in Britain when it was launched there in 1972, at a time when the sale of Japanese cars from Honda’s competitors Nissan and Toyota were soaring. Its compact design and economical engine ensured that it sold well in Britain in the aftermath of the 1973 oil crisis.

It’s wired off a make/break relay, that’s tapped of one of the full beam bulbs, so the full beam now switches on the light bar. Will attemp to get some pics and a video of it working soon, will be hard because it’s so bright.

Porsche giving the finger to downsizing. Lovely. The new GT3 RS might also come with an upgraded exhaust (this gonna sound good) and a 911 R derived diffuser! Power output is speculated around 530HP and it most definitely will be PDK-only. My main question now is, will it have a 8,5K redline or the bonkers 9K RPM redline?

This is probably my favourite Top Gear Episode ever (Apart from the Tractor one!). The trio take three second-hand sports saloon cars to Germany for a series of challenges. One of these is to complete a fast lap of EuroSpeedway Lausitz, which would be recorded and uploaded to YouTube. Whoever got the most views in a week won that part of the challenge. Layout of the Track Here are the three videos of the lap times: 140hp more than the Mercedes Cosworth which isn't really a Cosworth hehhehehe.

World War II have finally come to an end. Thanks to raw materials shortage during the war, the Swedish market is now in need of a small car that’s economical and tough. And that’s why the Volvo PV444/544 was born.

This week at Lohen we saw Conor Taylor and his immaculate MINI Generation 1 R53 for a CAE Short Shifter installation. The CAE Short Shifter is a traditional H pattern shifter that reduces distance of gear change (it is not a sequential shifter and gearbox). The CAE allows for faster and precise gear changes, perfect for fast road and track use.

Want to relive some weird fantasy in which you find yourself as Uncle Jesse instead of them good old Duke Boys? Well believe it or not a good farm truck will be much easier to find (and much cheaper) than a 69 Charger. But what are they like to live with? I can tell you from my 22-year old point of view that it might take some major adjusting to what the normal view of a ‘daily driver’ is. I can also tell you that it’s actually one of the best ways to learn how to work on your own car if you can only have one vehicle.
