On August 5th, Marcel Feldhaus had a major accident with his motorbike on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. To me as a spectator, at first it looked like he did not survive the crash, but luckily he did. (link to the crash video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYMJq3XcEh0 ) Marcel is currently in hospital in Adenau were he will get surgery to his shoulder. Considering the circumstances, he is in “good” condition.

The weather at the Nürburgring is finally improving, but in the Eifel, you will never know when the weather takes a turn for the worse. So just to remind you, here’s a video of how you should NOT drive at the Nordschleife when it’s wet!
