My brother and I had done several track-days in our own cars, but the need to do more track-days was ever growing. We made the decision to build ourselves a track-car that was fun, cheap, easily repairable and could handle some abuse. Having plenty of experience owning and working on the 3 different MG ZR/Rover 25’s since I started driving it seemed a decent place to start

Sooooo… The plan was for me and my brother to build a Track Car after doing several track days in our own cars. Having owned several MG-Rover cars I felt confident working on them , it seemed the ZR was a good place to start. Sure there are faster cars or more appropriate track-cars, but for us it was about making it simple and already understanding what we needed to do and how to do it :D the direction was for a fun, cheap, easily repairable car that could handle some abuse.
