Got a pair of NB Miata seats for a pretty good price, driver side has a bit of wear which made doing the foam cut on it a little more palatable. Somehow the threads on one of the holes holding the brackets on were destroyed, but held the bracket just fine prior to the surgery. Either way, store run to buy a tap and the install was pretty painless from there. Now my head doesn’t come close to my roll bar like it did with my NA seats.

I come to you tired, and altogether $700ish dollars poorer since I chose to try to make something work which I was told would not. Basically I was tired of looking at the haggard factory wheels that came on my Lincoln Mark VIII. The chrome was peeling off of them and the tires were dry-rotting and were useless in really every condition. So I figured, why not try to get some factory wheels for the price of 1 aftermarket wheel and put some really nice tires on them.

Full disclosure, the starter in the Lincoln has gone out and will soon be repaired. But my parents were kind enough to loan me one of my siblings’ cars to get me around while I wait for a chance to replace the starter. I was hoping for the Tahoe, but, the Milan has surprised me. The Milan is, not what I had anticipated it being. So I’m going to share my findings with all of you.

Step 1: Acquire Beer

The automotive world is vast and continuously growing, with changes coming everyday. From beginnings little more than a horseless carriage. To modern hypercars which bend the limits of what we perceive possible. For us enthusiasts, there is no shortage of cars to choose from and there’s probably a car we don’t even know of yet we’re destined to fall in love with. But there is one thing which every car we see has in common, they are all detrimental to the environment.

The perfect car is something which we have all tried to figure out at one time or another. What features should if have? Who should make it? Is there any cars which have already been made which closely resemble this perfect car? And once we’ve rationalized what this perfect car is, what would we be willing to do to get our greedy little trump hands on it? Many of us have thought a lot about just how we’d get behind the wheel of our perfect car. But I’ve been thinking, do we really want the perfect car?
