Kawasaki has long been a player in the sub-250cc motorcycle market. Its Ninja 250 stood the test of time, before getting bumped up to 300cc in 2013. But with that move, it left the door open for a truly entry-level streetbike. We were recently invited to Kawasaki’s Irvine, California, headquarters to see the very first of the company’s 2017 model offerings, the brand-new-for-the-U.S.-market Z125 Pro.

Jawa 250 model 557-07 Supersport is very special bike to me. This model was made specially for US market in former Czechoslovakia to try to compete with mostly British 4 stroke motorcycles. This is a cruiser frame with racing engine in it. Engine model 557 was used exclusively on motocross/SDT racing bikes. This bike is rare find and I’m very excited to do the restoration. Motorcycle was picked up from Mobile,AL. After initial check I found few things wrong with the engine, which unfortunately requires entire engine overhaul, so this will be total restoration ( body and engine).

it’s a TOP model of Brutale line-up from legendary Italian manufacturer MV Agusta. It’s got a 3-Cylinder engine with 798ccm . It produces 140 HP/13 100 rpm and 86 Nm/10 100 rpm. The weight with all fluids is 169 kg. Power to Weight ratio is 1,19 kg/HP - you can imagine how much fun it can give you :)
