Car culture is both a wonderful and deplorable thing. We see people having car meets having fun and helping each other, but we also see people driving like douches and crashing and dangerous street racing. Here are the ups and downs of car culture

I have recently discovered another way American, European and Japanese car makers are similar. There are certain types of cars that are made by many of those manufacturers; here are those types of cars.

There are many kinds of rivalries within car culture, Subaru WRX STI vs Mitsubishi Evo, Chevy Camaro vs Ford Mustang, etc. However, the rivalry that is the most prevalent across the world is the rivalry of Muscle vs JDM vs Euro. For the uninitiated, Euro cars are sports cars made in Europe, JDM is a term used for Japanese sports cars (more specifically made for the Japanese Domestic Market), and Muscle is a term used for American cars with a V8 engine, because Merica, THAT’S why! Let’s look at the history of this rivalry in America specifically.

Us car guys tend to like shiny new cars, love to wax and wash cars so we can see the paint glisten; so we can smell the leather and that new car smell. What if I told you that you can also have fun by driving a car that has more rust then steel and is worth less than a new flat screen TV? Sounds crazy right? Allow me to explain why a beater isn’t as bad as you think it is.

There are a lot of people that say that they like all sports cars, muscle, JDM and Euro. I’m sure that there are a lot of people out there that like muscle, JDM and Euro, but they don’t like them all equally. They may say they like them all equally, but their words and actions tell a different story.

The general requirements for a drift car are RWD and manual. Most people drift BMW coupes or a Nissan S Chassis, but perhaps people should look into RWD trucks. Here are some reasons a truck makes a great drift mobile. ONE Most driftworthy trucks on the market are cheap. Look on Craigslist and you can find a Datsun mini truck for 2 grand or even cheaper. You can even find other full sized trucks for the same price. Drift cars WILL be thrashed so you might as well get a cheap one.

ONE The Mustang is the original ponycar There’s nothing like an original, and the Mustang in my book is Ford’s first true sports car. Imitation is the greatest form of flattery, and such is the case with the Camaro imitating the Mustang.

This automotive rivalry has been raging on for decades and won’t stop anytime soon, Mustang vs Camaro. Both cars are great and have different benefits for each car. I like both cars, but overall, I like the Camaro better, and here’s why.

One You can have your own co driver Having a co driver can have many benefits. You have someone to give you driving advice, keep an eye out for police, deer and kangaroos, and if needed, shout at you to SLOW THE $#!) DOWN! Arguably, the added weight is worth it for a co driver.
