About two weeks ago, I asked the community to complete this survey where they had to choose which car they would rather own out of 4 choices. Well, the results are in! Let’s have a look at the individual question results:

Some of you may remember me as the person behind this LEGO Koenigsegg Regera and this Ariel Atom . I decided to try a larger build, and it’s fair to say I pushed the limits of my collection. This is a 1-metre-long F1-inspired ride-on-car made from nothing but 100% LEGO!

While I’m a huge petrolhead, I’m also a musician, and I’ve decided to combine these two passions to explain why car engines sound the way they do. I hope that even if you aren’t musical, you can still get something out of this blog. The fundamental note In a car engine, the crankshaft turns which provides a fundamental tone. The pitch of this tone depends on the speed of the engine. This is why a Formula One car usually has a higher pitched sound than a normal car. This diagram shows how the engine sounds vary:

Gear ratios are crucial for any car, whether it has 1 gear or 10. So here are some things you should consider when buying a car:

Where I live, I’d say the top 5 underrated brands are: Mazda - often overlooked despite having a generally solid range Subaru - almost nonexistent on roads Skoda - seems to have a “cheap” image, despite the modern (VW-group) cars being pretty decent Seat - slightly less cheap image but still perceived as inferior to Volkswagen Hyundai - definitely improved - even the non-Genesis cars seem OK As for most overrated, where I live that definitely goes to Audi.

I’ve been playing CSR Racing 2 and I think I’ve hit a wall at Tier 5. Basically I need to choose a car for Tier 5 since the F-Type Project 7 that I won isn’t going to be enough to reach the end. Thing is that I don’t want to spend any real money, and I have only 1368 Gold, so my only options are the 570S, the Huracan and the F12. But I don’t have any Stage 6 Upgrades for any of these, and I’ve heard that you NEED Stage 6 to win the pink-slip race and win the Agera R. So I’m not sure what I should do. I have several options:

Any suggestions for a Fiesta ST and an Audi RS5? I don’t want to use TAILG8R again xD. Remember there is a 7 character limit including spaces.

I’ve had RR3 for quite a long time (I’m level 70), and have never spent a penny on it. So here are my tips on how to play better! I’m planning to do a full review of the game at some point, and possibly review certain cars as well. Glide don’t slide The handling in RR3 favours smooth drivers - you don’t want to be sliding. Braking a few metres earlier on each turn will cost you far less time than sliding.

Cars can help to get you girls, but girls usually stop you from getting cars :(.

There aren’t really any FWD hypercars, so the closest thing I can offer is this Nissan GT-R LM Nismo. 1250hp (about 550 from the engine and 700 from a flywheel system) all driving the front simply because it allowed them to use a larger rear diffuser. It’s a pity that it suffered reliability issues during Le Mans - you rarely see out-of-the-box ideas like this:

This has been my work for the past few months. It’s a drag-racing simulator with 10 cars to choose from! It has some accurate tuning (you can adjust things like turbo boost pressure, camshaft timing, redline, gearing, aero and tyres), although some elements step outside the boundaries of regular physics (50 bars of boost and 1100mph in a Koenigsegg One:1 anyone?). The game is coded by me - since it’s Scratch, you can look inside the code. Have fun setting high-scores and tuning! See if you can beat my record of 1104mph with the One:1. My tune:

I’ve been programming a drag-racing game on Scratch! It’s not yet finished (it isn’t live on the website yet), but I thought I’d share some screenshots. There are 10 cars in the game:

I think there’s a lot of misuse of the terms “supercar”, “hypercar” and “megacar”. Some people are calling hypercars megacars, others are calling supercars hypercars and some are calling sports cars or GTs supercars. So I’ll define what I consider each of these terms to be, plus a few others.

So, you can have any cars you like up to the value of $1m! Or whatever your currency is. Choose a reasonable equivalent - something like Euros or GBP can be a One:1 (I’ll always write it like this xD) conversion rate, but you’ll need to convert it if you’re dealing with Rupees, Yen or something similar. The only other rule is that you must have 10 cars, so choose wisely! For used cars, find one on sale to get a price (no need to give a link). No need to factor in options. My picks (in UK, doing £1m):

So, want to predict the Ring lap time of a car? Here’s the most accurate predictor in the world! All you need are five inputs: Power of the car in hp Weight of the car in kg If the car is all-wheel-drive If the test is manufacturer-backed If the car is excessively worshipped So here’s what you do:
