As the first few McLaren Senna’s are just beginning to be collected by their owners, I thought that I’d create a follow up post to one I made 5 months ago - showcasing every pre-production Senna that had been spotted or unveiled at the time. Which of the following examples do you prefer?

As per usual the Bavarian tuning company Mansory unveiled a number of new, and interesting, designs at their stand at this year’s Geneva International Motor Show. One of the 8 cars showcased was this McLaren 720S ‘First Edition’: a satin white car abundant in forged carbon-fibre and additional aero appendages. Though it was arguably one of the less extreme cars on the stand, every panel on the 720S had been altered in some way, and the interior had been completely reupholstered with Zagato-esque stitching and exterior-matching green accents.

After almost 4 years in the works, Pagani Zonda R ‘Dark Minion’ has finally been completed, and delivered to the owner’s residence in Miami. Unlike every other Zonda R/Revolucion, this particular example was never intended to be driven, or even started up. Instead, the owner wanted Pagani to make him the ultimate living room decoration in the form of a 1:1 scale Zonda R using the exact same techniques and processes that would have went into the original. Is the term ‘goals’ appropriate here?

Officially recognised as the final LaFerrari Aperta to come out of Maranello, #210 was built as an ‘extra’ car following the 209-unit production run of the Aperta. The Rosso Fuoco sports a one-off Bianco Italia livery, Grigio Opaco wheels, Nero brake calipers, gloss carbon-fibre and a full nero alcantara interior. Being a US-spec car, the front and rear bumpers have additional orange reflectors to comply with Federal regulations.

007 This ‘16 MSO F1 Charcoal Grey MSO HS (#007) was delivered new to its owner through McLaren Ascot in October 2016. The car features gloss black Ultra Lightweight wheels, McLaren Orange brake calipers, carbon fibre badges and a black embossed leather and alcantara interior with carbon fibre race seats. 007 was one of the very first HS’ delivered worldwide, and the first to be delivered to a customer in the UK.

VP7xx-P15 On 03/01/18, a Black Senna prototype (VP7xx) was spotted in Surrey, England. This LHD example sports black Ultra-Lightweight 9-spoke wheels, red CCM-Rs, red front fender inners, glazed lower door sections, an EU-spec front bumper and a three-piece exhaust. VP720-P15 On 23/02/18, a Black Senna prototype (VP720) was spotted in Surrey, England. This LHD example sports test wheels, blue CCM-Rs, black front fender inners, glazed lower door sections, an EU-spec front bumper and a three-piece exhaust.

Earlier today, Lanzante Limited announced via Instagram that it is currently working on creating two new P1 GTR variants: the P1 GT, and P1 GTR ‘Longtail’. Though the information given regarding the two new cars was minimal (at best), it’s difficult not to get a little bit excited for what may well be the ultimate (and final) iteration of the P1.

As most of you will know, recently Oakley Design went about modifying a Bugatti Veyron for Instagrammer @waj786. The Veyron featured many new exterior modifications, including a new exhaust system, a new diffuser, new side skirts and a lot more. It wasn’t only the exterior that was tweaked though, Oakley Design managed to get an extra 144bhp out of the 8.0 litre W16 bringing it to 1145bhp in total with 1580nm of torque. Like many of Waj’s cars, the Veyron was finished in a yellow and black affair; inside and out.
