Powered by a 750bhp 2.0 litre BDTE Cosworth Evolution engine this once road-going RS200 was converted to compete in the IMSA GTO in 1988. The car wasn’t as successful or reliable as first hoped and only raced in 3 out of a possible 38 races from 1989 to 1991. In 1991 the car saw a 40th place finish, completing the race second to last. After the cars 3 year racing career, the car was sold on and later modified to be suitable for racing in the Pikes Peak hill climb event which it still competes in today.
