Here it is! My first car! Words cannot describe how thrilled, I am to have this as my first car! So far its beaten every expectation that I’ve had of it, some performance figures etc are listed below. Engine: 1.6L 4 cyl N/A (Really solid unit, picks up really nicely) Gearbox: 5 speed manual (Solid, short throw, much better than my driving instructors A3) Drivetrain: FWD Top Speed: 125 mph Power: 125 bhp Torque: 109 lb-ft 0-60: 8.5 seconds (Feels a lot faster than that!) Weight: 1105 kg

The concept of restoring and modifying iconic cars is not an entirely new idea, its something that has been done by the likes of NISMO and HKS, even manufactuers have taken this onboard and developed their own performance subrands such as AMG and the M-Division.

Hi, I’m Gurminder and you’ve got a problem that I can sort. You wanna know what your problem is? You’ve spent too much time reading mediocre drivel, thinking that its good. It’s a tragic story, no one has taken the time to help you learn about the things you and I love, cars. Now because I’m nice, I’m going to help you out, so sit back relax and read.

Running. It’s actually quite good for you, and if your good enough you can make a decent living out of it. Some people run to get healthier, some run for fun and some run to clear their heads. I run for all those reasons and more, I run because it gives me a chance to listen to my music and it gives me a chance to spot some of the great cars on the British roads.

Hello and welcome once again to Generations Of… If you remember last time we were exploring my favourite series of cars, the beast from the east, which is of course the Nissan Skyline. In this second series we are moving not far from Japan, in fact we are going down under to the land of the Kangaroo and of course the Dingo, but were not here to list the animals and creepy crawlies of Australia that’s David Attenborough’s job. We’re here to talk about the other thing they are known for… No not drinking, I mean cars!

Welcome, to what is something that I’ve wanted to do since I declared to myself that the R34 was no longer my baby, what is my baby is the Nissan Skyline GTS-R a car that is so underappreciated that even though only 800 cars were made prices for these cars fetch around £20K. So, here are some facts about a stock GTS-R its RWD but that’s soon to change, it uses a RB20DET-R straight six producing 210HP, which back in the late eighties was what you’d expect from a sports car. That RB20 is also going to go, as is the interior, gearbox and pretty much all of the innards of the GTS-R.

Another one! No this is not DJ Khaled, it’s me Mr Bains once again writing about my favourite series of cars, some of the more eagle eyed of you may have noticed me saying that I wasn’t going to do a post on the Infiniti badged Skylines but as I mentioned in the closing paragraph of the last post I’d be doing an injustice to the Skyline series if I was to purposely skip the Infiniti badged Skylines based upon my views. However, you’ll be pleased to know that those views have changed since creating this post. So sit down, relax and read.

Welcome, to what is a new series of blog posts by none other than myself! In this series I will be exploring certain cars and going through their generations, so where better to start than with my favourite series of car. The Nissan Skyline, this introduction of the series will be exploring the generations of the Skyline from start to finish and then moving on into why each generation is special and why it is the best generation, at the end of the posts in the finale there will be a vote to see which generation the good people of CarThrottle love the most.

If you’re anything like me after a hard time at work or college I like to switch on my XBOX and put in Forza and slay some tires. Recently Forza and Turn 10 have really smashed it out of the park with Horizon 3 however, I still feel as though Forza needs to up its game. Now the next scheduled Forza game should be Forza Motorsport 7 and will possibly be available around 2018 or later. My incompleteness with the Forza series has led me to write this post about some changes and additions that need to be made.

Welcome, to my second #Different build, this time round I’m going to be fantasising about the BMW M3 (E36) a car which has recently become my favourite M3 and in fact my favourite BMW. So what can I do to change this 90’s German barnstormer, well as you’ll find out soon, quite a lot.

As petrolhead’s many of us have that one car that we have lusted after since day one, the car that we look at endlessly on the internet, the car that gets us weak at the knees everytime we look at it, the car that we one day aim to buy. During my time of being a CTzen I have very rarely spoken about my dream car the Nissan Skyline GTR R34 but after some consideration its come to my attention that my knowledge, passion and reasoning need to be heard.

So this is my Widebody Midnight Purple 911, this is exactly as I would have mine if I was rich enough to go to RWB.

So here we are again with the F-Type SVR that was pipped to the post in it’s comparison post by the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S. However a new rival has emerged from the shadows, the Mercedes AMG GT R a more powerful, lighter and greener (No not economically!) version of the AMG GT-S so as promised I said that I would compare these two sports cars on steroids! So without further ado, welcome to fight club, population me, you and two angry ‘hardcore’ sports cars
