Rain And Hail Causes Carnage At The Nurburgring 24 Hours
Torrential rain and hail caused all kinds of chaos at the Nurburgring 24 Hours, with cars spinning, crashing and sliding all over the place in the treacherous conditions
Some cars were even unable to climb uphill due to the hail and ice, leaving the drivers stranded on the track. The race has been red flagged due to the crashes and mayhem. The restart won’t be before 6pm, with cars being allowed to drive back to the pits for repairs.
And guess what? While all this drama was taking place, the pitlane was nice and dry. Only at the Nurburgring!
