12 Channels and Series' that All Petrol heads Should Know About.

A petrol head can NEVER have too much content at his/her fingertips. I think we all know the sad feeling when we finish an episode of a car series, just to find out that it was the last one (RIP TOP GEAR). We ask ourselves what we will do with our lives for the next 6 months. Go outside?

A petrol head can NEVER have too much content at his/her fingertips. I think we all know the sad feeling when we finish an episode of a car series, just to find out that it was the last one (RIP TOP GEAR). We ask ourselves what we will do with our lives for the next 6 months. Go outside? No, definitely not that. Socialize with friends? No, they all think that a Pagani is some kind of fancy purse. Drive? Oh yes, that sounds promising. BUT WAIT, take your pick; you look in your (wallet/ garage) realizes there is no (money/car)*

So I’ve decided to list below, my 12 favorite car series’ and/or channels that you guys should check out, or keep in mind for a rainy day. (or month)

FORMAT67.NET

One of my personal favorites, the guys and gals over at FORMAT67.NET film studio make some absolutely gorgeous car films and documentaries. They make some amazing connections with what it means to love cars. If you aren’t that deep, their shots of cars are absolutely sexy.

Racing In Slow Motion

Does more need to be said? The ridiculous blink-and-you’ll-miss-it speeds of motor sport slowed down to the point of hushed serenity.

Chris Harris on Cars

Previously a series on /Drive, and now a standalone Youtube channel, Chris Harris is arguably one of the best hosts we have ever seen. (That includes the TG squad). Top it all off, he’s a great driver and has access to some of the nicest automotive masterpieces on the planet. And to top that top, he is likely going to be working with Clarkson, Hammond and May, As well as Tiff Needell for the upcoming hyper car showdown.

Ken Block’s Gymkhana

Give a rally driver a 600 HP Ford Fiest ST Rally car, or an AWD 1965 Mustang making 800+ HP, and temporarily close down a city for his hooning needs, and the result is nothing but tire smoke and happiness.

AMMO NYC

Larry is a slightly obsessive, meticulous, and really just all around crazy car detailer. But he knows what he is doing, and we love him for it. Watch him bring million dollar cars, or his own subaru legacy, to ungodly levels of sexiness. He can be found on his own channel, as well as /Drive Clean

Roadkill

I’d hope everyone already knows this, but if you haven’t check them out. Follow David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan on their adventures struggling with hot rods and junk yard restorations.

Haggard Garage

“The home of hack ass engineering and endless shenanigans”
Basically half Roadkill and half unserious ridiculousness.

Mighty Car Mods

Aussies, Blue Turd and Super Gramps are just some of the few words I can use to describe this great youtube channel. They have multiple project series’, how to’s, and documentaries filled with comedy and emotion.

Tax The Rich

Though I’m still not sure HOW they manage to, this channel is basically a bunch of Hoonigans.
With million dollar supercars, and lots of ideas. They do what we dream of dreaming of dreaming.

Petrolicious

Another very professional Youtube channel which does documentaries and features on classic cars. Both modified and pure beauties can be found here

Shmee150

What started out as some random car spotter has grown to become a fking amazing car spotter. Shmee seems to have magical hypercar finding abilites in the streets of London and definitely has a thing for blue cars. He also documents some epic events like the Gumball Rally.

Regular Car Reviews

This faceless man has some seriously unexplainable and funny humor in his reviews of cars ranging from your normal city cruisers to, nowadays, some seriously high end cars. Don’t take the reviews too seriously, and you will come to love his unique sense of humor.

Was I an idiot and forgot some amazing car channels? Post them in the comments, especially if they are smaller and deserve more attention.

Also, excuse any horrible formatting, this was my first go at this.

Bolt-On Ricer

Love MCM and Roadkill, just wish Motortrent would stop with all those On Demand promotion crap.
MCM is most fun when they do backyard DIY with Kei Cars like Blue Turd and when they got the Gti-R (for those remembering that)
