Same here bud! Stopping Distance and XJ220 engine got me
How come it says the venom has a 1:1 power to weight ratio when koenigsegg made a big deal about their car (the One:1) being the first car to have that
Because koeningsegg are talking about the one:1 being the first car to have 1 mega watts per tonne rather than horse power.
The Venom GT came first, though Koenigsegg might be turning up their noses at the Venom for being based off a Lotus. That, or they’re just saying “Ours has more power.”
I think strictly the 1:1 power to weight ratio was first achieved by the Venom, but it’s actually pretty difficult to get both figures to exactly balance; engine power varies by altitude, humidity, air temperature, fuel quality and more so the 1244bhp is sort of 1244-ish, so John Hennessey got to the 1:1 figure eventually after tweaking and fettling. Whereas Kristian von Koenigsegg would not let the first One:1 leave the factory unless it was over the magical 1 Megawatt (1360PS) AND be under 1360 Kgs, due to it’s name. Still, I love both of them.
