Ferrari 430 Coupe Car Review

Flash, dash, and cash are the three adjectives to describe the Ferrari 430 Coupe.  The car's trim and sleek body offers a flashy demeanour that just can't be compared.  In a dash you will find yourself at the store or anywhere else you wish to be, as this F430 makes 0 to 60mph in just 3.6 seconds.  Sadly, the Ferrari 430 Coupe requires a bit of cash in your pocket to bring this baby home.  At £169,000 you can expect a powerful performance in a compact vehicle.

Under the bonnet is a praiseworthy 4.3 503bhp engine.  It starts at an impressive 4000 rpm, with the ability to top out at 8500rpm.  If you're not careful you might just find yourself at 200mph in the blink of an eye.  The engine quite simply purrs to life with a simple twist of the key.  The gears have a placid shift from gear to gear, at hardly a notice from the driver.

The Ferrari Coupe offers 2 doors, in a wing design.  It is definitely not a family car, but something to drive around in with style and elegance.  Rear wheel drive offers a grip to the curves in which you will glide around them without so much as an upset.  A spacious interior for the passengers accompanies the elegance of the exterior.  The boot space is only 250 litres, but then again the Ferrari is set up for racing and Sunday drives to the country rather than luggage.  Picture yourself drifting along a curvaceous cliff-side road heading towards that perfect romantic getaway, with but a single suitcase and picnic basket in the boot- for that is all you need.

Ferrari F430 Side Profile

Standard safety equipment is supplied.  For more features, spending just a little over £1000 will get you MP3 connection and an MP3 CD player installed by the factory.  The interior is impressive with leather seats, side panels, and dash.  The gauges and gear shift are made with metal to set them apart from the black interior.

The exterior comes in a variety of sporty colours, with red and gray stripes being the most popular.  There is just something about a red sports car that excites the most discerning of consumers.  To match the sleekness of the chassis, alloy wheels in silver are available.  The bonnet slopes down in the front, in a bit of a rounded position to accentuate the moderately side positioned headlights.  The rear of the Ferrari 430 Coupe is a bit boxy, with a small spoiler.  It may even remind you more of the Corvette style rear end.  There are also side vents at the rear panel for a more aerodynamic appearance.

As with any car, the Ferrari 430 Coupe does have some drawbacks.  These are minor issues such as a rattling in the windows with high winds.  There are also no side air bags.  The only other negative associated with the 430 Coupe is the long waiting list to obtain such an animalistic machine… "Grrr".  The F-1 style chassis, powerful engine, and tigress looks will have you feeling instantly superior to other vehicles on the road.  One person likened a ride in the F430 Coupe to a feeling "like being shot out of a circus cannon!"
