About 200 bhp per tonne is quick enough for an everyday car … My last car was only 100 bhp per tonne and that did the job and did it well but never really blew me away

For me, about 350 bhp is enough for a 1 - 1,5 tonne car
for me it is the thorque that counts. and i will say 300 Nm.
Well it depends on the use, to me for a street car(a dally car) anything over 200bhp i consider powerful, a sports car anything between 300-500, anything above 500bhp is powerful by my standards, but generally speaking i consider 200bhp+ powerfull
It depends on who the person is and where their comfort level is. The most avid car guy could be comfortable with a 2000kg car with 200hp and enjoy himself all day long. By the same token, another dude could be comfortable with a 1100kg car with 500hp. It all depends on who you are.

350whp is a legitimately powerful car in my book.
I have a 900whp and I think its slow, car weight 3300lbs.
My Cadillac is 347 hp but weighs 1814 kg. Doesn’t seem that powerful.
