Post the best #startercar for your country! In America, I'd say a 4th gen Camaro is the way to go. It's cheap, has decent power, and it's easy to repair if something goes wrong.

The author has apparently never serviced the optispark system on the lt1 engine variant of the 4th Gen f body or serviced the spark plugs on the ls1 variant. Not for the novice by any means.
Yea I know what you mean Even the 3.4 is a pain the 4th gen. F-body is by no means easy to work on
U.K: Toyota Yaris (ideally a 1st-Gen). Legendarily reliable, isn’t burdened with a ‘boy-racer’ image that other small cars are (especially the Corsa), can seat 5 people fairly easily (although the boot is quite small), and is easy to drive.
Canadian are ugly
Unfortunately, the insurance cost is pretty high, especially for a teenager. However, it is a very cool car.
