That last question pisses me off cause I am sick and tired of Prius haters. The Prius has a 1.8 liter gasoline atkinson cycle engine producing 99 bhp. Electric motor increases output to about 130+ hp.

The current models use the 1.8 you’re referring to. 2ZR-FXE if I’m not mistaken. The “X” is for hybrid systems.
