16 years 2 months. On my 16th birthday I skipped last class and headed down to the MTO with all my papers signed. Needed parental signatures then. I had all the paperwork filled out a week before.

I was taught to drive manual as soon as I could put my feet on the floor and see over the dash at the same time. I got my licence at 20 though.
