What scares you most about the car world in 20 years' time? For me, it's the possibility that my MX-5 might be illegal to drive by then :/

I think a lot of people are predicting a driverless future where car ownership is a thing for hobbyists and nerds but I really don’t think it’s going to happen quite that fast. I’ve lived in Britain long enough to know how long things take! Particularly fundamental changes to infrastructure and especially changes to mentality. We’ll still be burning rubber in 20 years. I’m sure of it. Taking cars from us is like taking guns from Americans. It might work for 90% of the population but that other 10% are going to make as much trouble as possible, shout a lot about personal freedom and stop it from happening.

The thing is that if you introduce autonomous cars into a highly populated area the system will probably just derp out if a human driver does something wrong meaning they would want it all to just be autonomous… Just a theory and one I don’t want to happen ☹
