I bet that even in 50 years combustion engines are still most used engine type & there isn’t that much selfdriving cars, so don’t worry about it.
People had the same fears long time ago. What would happen to their beloved horses when cars take over? Absolutelly nothing happened.
That driverles cars will be a thing, because once they will it is only a matter of time untill man driven cars will be illegal due to saftey reasons
I dont think nothing big will change in 20 years , only that engines will get smaller
Automatics, electric and hybrids
And self driving cars
Petrol engines gone, manual transmissions gone, autonomous cars rule the streets, cameras everywhere in and around the car, computers making life decisions for you… It’s endless paranoia to be honest. Just like weaponized AI. I am a huge PC nerd, but computers are genuinely starting to scare me with these types of implementations
The complete revolutionalised automobile experience and the fact my children or grandchildren might not be able to enjoy manual cars or even worse have no reapect for them that is a world I don’t want to live in
