What's the one single car part you don't understand on your car?

For me it has to be the helical differential. Absolutely no idea. :O

The engine doesn’t work because your check engine light is on and your check engine light won’t turn off because your engine doesn’t work. Simple. 😂

Go behind your dash and take out the light for the check engine indicator, that should fix all your problems. :D

Basically, the thing you see through the wheel is the drum itself. Inside are two shoes and they work like pads in a disc because as you push the pedal they run against the drum slowing you down. I think that’s the basic workings of them anyway

Why mine has drum brakes at the rear, rather than discs

I hate how manufacturers to this day keep cheaping out and doing that. Fortunately, the original owner of my car (1997) picked the 4 wheel disc brake option. Modern disc brakes were invented in the 1950s and they’re still not universal. smh
