This 07:25 BMW E36 M3 'Ring Lap Is Astonishing To Watch
A talented driver is seen monstering the Nurburgring in his track-prepped E36 M3, clocking an incredible 7min 25sec bridge to gantry lap in the process
Enjoy the 7min 59sec Honda S2000 Norschleife lap we were watching recently? Allow us to go one better. It involves a chap called Alex Hardt, seen here in a track-prepared BMW E36 M3. In it, he’s able to clock a 7min 31sec bridge to gantry-measured lap. Wow.
We don’t know exactly what modifications have been made to the M3, but whatever has been done to the car - combined with Hardt’s handiness behind the wheel - has clearly done the trick.
Oh, and those air horn-like noises are the tyres rubbing on the wheel arches, in case you wondered…

Colin’s Non-Lemon Nürburgring Cousin
Well this lemon has certainly been squeezed…
Alex Kersten’s E36 M3 probably takes 7:25 to start up.

Whats with all the ‘ring posts this week?
First of all i think he’s one of the privileged guys out there, driving all these cars at this age. Check his youtube channel. Second, watch his vid with his gf. Whoa. https://youtu.be/BcYWSEEX_yI
lol I’ve seen this video a few years ago and just noticed that he changed the title from girlfriend to just friend :D
Any mods? ;)
Probably numerous and extensive. Clearly has a sequential transmission, lexan windows too - if someone’s prepared to go to those lengths and expense, the cars most likely optimized in every area.
Colin’s evil twin that actually works.
If he tried, he could beat a Porsche 918 Spyder
