1. Pizza time

Obviously the most important fact of the season was that Pirelli's motorhome chef cooked 240 Pizzas and served 6000 desserts. That is a lot of food...

2. Burning rubber

Pirelli supplied Formula 1 with 33,200 tyres this year, including 23,300 slick tyres and 2400 rain tyres which were used over the course of three winter tests, 19 races and a young driver test.

3. Top speed

The fastest speed recorded during the 2013 F1 season was 341.1kph (210mph) by Esteban Gutierrez at the Italian Grand Prix.

4. Time is ticking

The longest race in 2013 was the Monaco Grand Prix which lasted for two hours, 17 minutes and 52 seconds. This was due to the race being red-flagged for a crash between Max Chilton and - you guessed it - Pastor Maldonado at Tabac, before being restarted for a final 26 lap burst.

5. Think green

112,200 tyres have been supplied by Pirelli since it returned to the sport in 2011, all of which have been recycled.

6. Best-seller

You know the Pirelli caps that drivers wear on the podium? Well, the Italian tyre manufacturer sold 16,000 replicas over the course of the 2013 season. Unfortunately it's yet to sell replicas of the Stetsons introduced at last year's United States Grand Prix in Texas.

7. Thirsty work

Working in the F1 paddock is thirsty work. 5000 litres of water were drunk in Pirelli's hospitality in 2013 to keep the drivers, mechanics and media hydrated.

8. Pit stop

951 pit stops took place this year, an average of 50.05 per race and 2.3 per driver. The fastest stop recorded was 1.923 seconds for Mark Webber at the United States Grand Prix. Blink and you'll miss it.

9. Total laps

Four-time champion Sebastian Vettel completed the most laps of anyone on the 2013 grid. The reliability of his Red Bull RB9 helped him complete 684 laps this season. Unfortunately his team-mate seemed to get stuck with all the mechanical issues...

10. Cooler conditions

The coldest track temperature raced on in 2013 was at the 17-degree British Grand Prix. The coolest conditions driven in this season were at the first winter test in Jerez, where the temperature dropped to just six degrees.
