The Aston and Mclaren were only temporary and they actually borrowed them from local dealerships I believe. They weren’t actually used for any type of policing duties

This is a list of unmarked cars from my state police, which uses them to patrol motorways… BMW 130s and a 330, Audi S4s, a 6th gen. Golf R, a GTI and a couple of Volvos. But when your local police too has got an electric blue Subaru Impreza WRX STI you really wonder if in the end it wasn’t all that bad to apply as police officer.
In Victoria, Australia, we now have Holden VF II SS sedans, but mostly wagons for undercover Highway Patrol cars. They are well tuned and are made effectively silent so you can’t hear the beasts coming!
