10 Expensive Rides With Parts Borrowed From Cheap Cars
Just because a car is ludicrously expensive, that doesn't mean all of its parts are uniquely milled from unobtanium. Occasionally, supercars borrow parts from much cheaper cars, and occasionally their unique parts look identical to those found on very ordinary motors!

The one about Daewoo and Maserati actually isn’t true, although they look similar.
DB7 also uses inner door handles from a miata.
Swapping miata seats is also a common mod for E-Type owners :)
I’m going to buy a 300ZX, I’ve always wanted to have a Lamborghini Diablo! I was shocked and surprised at the same moment.
I distinctly remember seeing the S14 tail lights on some muscle car. Can’t remember which one though.

Not identical but there is a resemblance
For everyone downvoting, I’m only referring to the tail light ramp if that wasn’t clear..
Invicta S1 used rear lights off a VW Passat.

I always referred to that car as “the sportscar with Passat inspired lights” but now I take a closer look…
It looks like they rotated it and said, “I hope no one notices.”
Hmmm I’m not sure, if you were to turn the Passat’s left light 90 degrees anti-clockwise, the curve would be along the bottom, not the top like the Invicta’s left light. The light would have to be mirrored in order to fit. Happy to be proved wrong though…
Well my jeep wrangler has the same radio as the Ferrari FF
Oh look points at grocery cart yup! That’s my inspiration… Right there
