After waiting an eternity for the PC version of GTA V to hit, gamers finally got their chance this week. The visuals were stunning, but there are always a few problems in a launch like this.

1. Some money was spent

PC players dropped a lot of money on the new game. Even though it’s technically already been out on consoles for the last year and a half, Rockstar wanted to bet that PC gamers would pay the same amount for their own version, and they were right.

2. The Social Club didn't want to launch

The Rockstar Social Club wouldn’t be so important, but you have to run the game through it to be connected with all the progress you’ve made in the game before the PC version.

Once the Social Club was launched, players could sync their progress, and begin the game where they left off in their consoles. BlackPanthaa says,

“I did port over my character from the Playstation 4 version of the game as you can see I’ve kind of got decent stats. Look at my money. Look at my level…”

5. A key was stolen

YouTube gamer MrBossFTW was innocently sharing his unveiling of the game in a live stream. He unknowingly showed his product key on the screen, and it had already been stolen by the time he needed to enter it in the game.

6. Some names weren't good enough

Players with unusual characters in their Windows admin account’s username were unable to install the game. Rockstar said

“We are currently working on a fix for this issue. If you don’t want to wait for a fix, you need to create a new Administrator User Account for your Windows system that only includes letters A to Z, a to z or numbers 0-9 from the basic Roman alphabet…Please note that simply renaming your current User Account will not correct this issue.”

7. Driver updates just for the occasion
