Putting them on a 2016 F1 car shows just how boring and dull some of the modern colour schemes are.

It’s cool to see how these liveries would look on F1 cars and how they transfer over from a prototype to a single-seater racer.

The rothmans livery was on williams f1 cars in the 90s, the renault livery has apeared several times in f1 and the martini livery is the current williams livery…

That gulf livery needs to come to f1 one day!

I have to be a bit pedantic here, sorry. Number 7 doesn’t belong here. The Porsche 917/30 was a Can Am car, not a Le Mans prototype.

I’m loving the looks though. proper job again from Mr. Bull. Though I notice a strong Porsche focus.

I think Le Mans became a generic name for sportscars. I use it often to describe WEC to my friends who are clueless about it.

So, the conclusion we’ve arrived at is that F1 needs more exciting liveries? I guess it just needs more excitement altogether.

The statements are bullshit. The only reason why these liveries look “better” than current F1 liveries is, because it is something new. The Bentley is basically how Caterham/lotus looked like during their short run, the Renault Alpine is well…the Renault and the Porsche 917-042 is basically Williams.
Anyway I wonder if the designer also considered any other viewing angle?
