13 Ways We Reacted To The 'Last Ever' Top Gear EpisodeYesterday, the last ever Top Gear featuring Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May hit our screens. It proved to be an emotional watch... Matt Robinson Updated: 29 Jun 2015 1. When the familiar theme tune came on, we couldn't contain our excitement 2. Then we heard Hammond's voiceover, and remembered this wasn't going to be an ordinary TG ep 3. And when we saw just Hammond and May in an empty studio, we just wanted to cry 4. But the actual elephant in the room was pretty damn funny 5. The classic car challenge started off well, but we soon got bored and distracted 6. It cut back to the Clarkson-less studio, and the lack of News or Star in the Reasonably Price Car just seemed wrong 7. The used SUV challenge started, which looked much more promising 8. Sure enough, it provided plenty of laughs 9. The segment ended, and we were overcome with sadness when Richard and James said a final thank you and farewell 10. When the screen faded to black and the credits rolled, it was a heavy blow 11. We remembered Clarkson, Hammond and May will almost certainly be back with a brand new car show 12. But we knew it would never be the same again, so applauded all involved for 22 incredible series 13. Thanks guys, it's been an incredible ride!
