The 2020 Silverado HD Is On The Way With 910LB FT And A Big Face
If a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD appears in your rear-view, you’re certainly going to know about it. That’s quite an imposing face, isn’t it? And if you really, really don’t want people mistaking it for anything other than a Chevrolet, those giant letters on the grille should do the trick.
The heavy-duty version of the Silverado will be revealed in full next year, but Chevrolet has released a handful of images along with some interesting details about the vehicle. For instance, that its exterior shares only a roof panel with the 1500 version of the pickup.
Customers will be given a choice of two different powertrains: an unspecified petrol engine, or the V8 diesel engine currently doing service in the light-duty Silverado. Which is, by the way, good for 910lb ft of torque.
Chevrolet is also promising new “trailering technology,” better towing and payload limits and a handy “integrated Bedstep” which is supposed to make load bed access easier if you have a fifth-wheel trailer hooked up to the back.
The Silverado HD is due for a February reveal, before going on sale mid-way through through 2019.

They take the grill off the camaro and nobody likes it, so to compensate they put a enormous grill on there trucks
Its a factory-built brodozer. I think that’s why the gave it this look which emphasises its height.
This one is still borderline acceptable but the Camaro facelift really is shit, totally ruined IMO

I sware, they just sat around a table and said “okay, how do we make a big A N G E R Y box” and this is the result. The 2020 Ram 2500 spied testing isn’t a whole lot better. Bigger grilles are necessary for towing more on trucks. Though, so they kinda sorta have an excuse with the near 1000lb.ft of torque they push out. Heck, a Ram 3500 tows 32500 pounds.
