Despite everyone watching it on tv saying “it’s not exciting, it’s just everybody going in circles”, if you actually go to a race and even just pick a driver, it’s brilliant to watch. Me and my family usually sat on the 2nd to bottom row, close enough you can read the sponsors on the drivers’ helmets. It’s exhilarating to watch the drivers, listen to the engines, and smell the burning gas, the tires being hot, the exhaust, and just feeling the amount of wind they generate passing by at nearly 195 mph across the start/finish line and even the little tiny bits of tire that hit you in your face as the race goes on and they become more worn down
