7 Awesome Examples Of Content Written By You This Week

We've given you guys the chance to create your own long and detailed blog posts, and we've already seen some incredible posts, including living with a Nissan Skyline, what it's like driving a car with a welded differential, and even an animated infographic!

What better way to start off our roundup than with this infographic about Car Throttle? Created by Jonathan Farah for a school project, we love the time and effort that went into creating all the animations, and it’s a brilliantly fun way to see what it’s like being a CTzen!

When we first introduced user-generated content, the plan was to give you guys the tools to create awesome and engaging long-form content. We know you lot have some cool cars and amazing stories to tell, and this brilliant post by SkyrineDom is exactly the sort of thing we always dreamed you guys would make.

Jayden Stacey has been fortunate enough to own two Toyota Supras, and after seeing the above Skyline post, was inspired to write about his own ownership downsides. They’re slow when stock and still expensive to run; hit the link above to read the full post!

CT user PerformanceandLuxury popped up with this great guide to driving a car with a welded differential. Sure, it’s great for drifting, but the internet will always tell you that it makes the car undrivable as a daily. This guide explains that that’s not necessarily the case, so long as you know what you’re doing.

A rather controversial one here from AlaskanDriving. According to this CTzen, Tesla is a bad company for stealing taxpayers’ money. This claim is justified by the fact that Tesla has borrowed a lot of money from the government and sells its zero emissions credits to other manufacturers. The comment section lit up with people hating on Tesla purely because it’s trying to kill off the internal combustion engine, while others countered that many American car manufacturers took government money when they were bailed out during the financial crisis of 2008 and 2009.

Personally I fall on the pro-Tesla side of the argument; we can’t hate on those trying to disrupt the status quo just because we don’t like change. EVs are here to stay, whether we like it or not, and at least Tesla makes its cars fun - if you’ve ever tried Insane or Ludicrous Mode you’ll know what I mean. What do you think? We all know that there are many factors that affect our driving, whether it’s tiredness, distractions in the car or even what you’ve had to eat or drink that day. What most of this comes down to is your concentration levels. In motorsport, therefore, if teams can monitor their drivers’ concentration levels, they can alter strategies around this knowledge.

Cosmis Racing Wheels Europe wrote a fascinating article about a new system that analyses the air a driver exhales, before being combined with data from a heart rate monitor to show how the driver is coping. The results are very interesting indeed.

This week Bugatti revealed that the Veyron’s successor would indeed be called Chiron after the racing driver of the same name. Unfortunately, Chiron wasn’t exactly a great guy.

Boosted Boris explains why Chiron is a questionable name choice, and makes a compelling argument for why Bugatti should’ve named its new car after Hellé Nice.

So many Top 10’s nowadays. I liked the Comments and Garage stuff, but this is too much imo.

If they’re going to make a massive amount of top 10s, they’re already beat by WatchMojo.
