#1 is definitely the one I 100% disagree with. What if you have to call the cops or something, because someone is following you and something more devious
I was thinking the same thing, or if you’re driving a car full of passengers it would be pretty bad if they couldn’t use their phones. Also the EMP would disable gps devices, police radars, music players, etc. The thought is commendable, just wouldn’t work.
And how about a audi sensor for when you have a tailgaiting audi

What is it with CTs obsession with pop-ups? They’re heavy, have more moving parts than a headlight should, are more fragile, and when up are aerodynamically inefficient. That is something that should stay in the 90s.
In my opinion, they don’t even look that cool either.
Valid points, but… The exact same could be said about, for example, convertibles. Heavier and weaker body, more moving parts, more fragile, less efficient, apart from that - impractical during winter, with the top down the interior will get dirty fast, driving in the city traffic in the sun is unpleasant, etc. So why is it that you chose to drive one? Whatever the reason is, I’m sure it is probably very similar to the reason why people like pop ups.
Pop-ups are cool, the only major problem is that they are less safe when you hit a pedestrian.
But nowadays pop-ups could return because nowadays you don’t have to use the low beams if you have DRLs.
