7 Little Things That Make Driving Such An Amazing Feeling
1. People turning their heads as you pass them
There’s no better feeling than when people acknowledge your car as you cruise through your neighbourhood. With just a blip of the throttle, you can see people staring back at you in your rear-view mirror which creates that fuzzy, warm feeling inside.
2. That "dab of oppo"
Correcting a bit of oversteer with a combination of your fingers and toes is one of the most rewarding experiences of driving a car. Just make sure you don’t over-do it…
3. Those surprise pops from the exhaust
It’s all about those occasional pops and bangs from the exhaust when you least expect it. This usually happens between shifts or while lifting-off and decelerating.
4. Seeing someone else in the same car and sharing an unspoken bond
It’s scientifically proven that owning the same car as someone else is able of converting two strangers into best friends for life in seconds. You both know you’ve made the right choice and celebrate it with a friendly nod, wave, or flash.
5. Not having to ride a pushbike
You know that massive hill on the way in to work? It takes a blip of the throttle to power through it, while your friend - let’s call him Jake - is already sweaty and out of breath.

6. Nailing a heel-and-toe downshift
Nothing is more rewarding than executing a perfect heel-and-toe downshift as you approach a red light. If you happen to drive a semi-automatic, shifting down and making the engine scream as you come to a stop can be just as satisfying.
7. Seeing your car's reflection in a window
For some unexplainable reason, your car will always look better in reflections, on photos taken by someone else and while someone else is driving it.

Just bought myself my first daily which is a 1993 Toyota Cynos, not the fastest or best looking of things but it handles well and just having that Independence is so good, This is the Cynos what does CT think?
exhaust pops not so much, Blow of valve/diverter valve noises though #justboostedcarthings
i don’t really feel exhaust pops, blow off valve/diverter vale noises though, #justboostedcarthings
To me the most enjoyable part of driving is gradually discovering my car’s limits and learning to make the most out of them as a driver. And not necessarily at speed. Sometimes even nailing a perfectly smooth low-speed shift in a comfortable way can be satisfying.
That moment when you start your car and she barks into life, scaring a small child in front of you while in an underground car park, or when someone mistakes your V6 for a V8 and gets jealous
