This 7min 21sec Ferrari 488 GTB Nurburgring Lap Is Stunning To Watch
Sport Auto sent German racing driver Christian Gebhardt around the Nordschleife in a 488, with predictably impressive results
With a huge jump in power compared to its predecessor and a vast array of other improvements, it’s perhaps no surprise that the 660bhp 488 is able to lay down a stonking ‘Ring time.
Sit back and enjoy the show…

Meanwhile, I crash the RUF Yellowbird into the Armco at the same track on Gran Turismo…
Thanks god you said on gran turismo at the end
The yellowbird is a great drift car, try it you’ll love it. sucks it doesn’t have an interior though.
Couldn’t help noticing 2 things.
1 - all the faces he makes, specially while braking or curving, from duck face to a smile he does them all
2 - the right knee hitting on the air conditioning commands, i’m pretty sure his knee is hurt after that lap
it looks like he’s about to bust a nut at every corner
hope his racing pants are padded.
Nissan GT-R Nismo is still faster, that car has 100 hp less, weighs at least 300 Kg more… I wonder how fast the new Ford GT will be ^^
it’s all done to grip… and on a track like this, grip is all you need lol
Also the Nissan GTR Nismois down on ~60hp not 100hp and as mentioned the GTR is AWD vs RWD on the 488 GTB
Please drive to the top sir!
why the early shifting?
Keep the traction? Maybe to stop the engine hitting the rev limiter and backing the power off? That said you might be comparing it to the 458, this does rev lower so you have to shift earlier, so it might sound like he’s shifting earlier but really he’s close to the limiter.
So it’s still not as fast as an LFA with Nürburgring Package?
Nor the Nismo GTR :D 7mins 8secs of pure VR38 POWAAAAA
I got a ride in one of those monsters… Absolutely amazing machine
Not only that its still not as fast as the McLaren F1 (XP5) and I know thats a different calibre of car but that was 20+ years ago!
At 0:50 he was jerking off… Because sexy Ferrari
Damn he went hard into the caroussel
Can’t wait for 3000hp self driving electric hypercars to do The Ring in under 4 minutes…..Average speed of 195mph seems possible eventually…..
Just need tyres made out of Chuck Norrises face and we’re good
Really cant put it into my head how is he driving like this I mean that pose looks so uncomortable not to mention not ideal for racing at all
this is yhe only good position for extreme fast driving. all WRC drivers drive in this positions. LeMan and everywhere else. Nobody said it’s comfortable but only in this position you have 100% control over the car
