The 8 Best Mobile Racing Games You’ve Ever Played
1. Pixel Car Racer
Pixel Car Racer is a cool, retro-style arcade racing game for mobile and tablet, suggested for its “endless customisation”, additional content and regular updates. And also for that “JDM life yo”.
This mobile and tablet game sparked a lot of support in the comments of the original community post, thanks to its awesome graphics, range of cars, multiplayer features and mix of tracks. That’s a good combination!
3. Real Racing 3
Real Racing 3 is one of the giants of mobile and tablet racing games and it’s easy to see why. It has that addictive quality that keeps you coming back for more, with progression through the ranks, good graphics and fun handling.
4. Assoluto Racing
This was described by the person who suggested it as the Gran Turismo of mobile racing games. It’s a pretty good looking and immersive title for the small screen, with loads of cars too. The physics are also a real highlight, especially for an app-based game.
5. Thumb Drift
Yes, not biased whatsoever, but THIS GAME INCLUDES PHIL. And if you don’t know what ‘Phil’ is, then shame on you. In all honesty, Thumb Drift is a pretty fun little game, and is quite simple to us. It’s just a case of keeping a slide going with your thumb as long as possible, collecting a few coins along the way if you can. And that’s all there is to it. Even if you’re a rookie to racing or drifting, you can still have a good time.
6. Gear.Club
We’ve recently been having a play around with Gear.Club and found it pretty fun. There’s a lot of customisation available and the handling is decent, for a mobile/tablet game. Graphics-wise, it’s strong too and there’s a good range of cars, with new ones constantly being added.
7. CSR Racing 2
CSR Racing 2 isn’t like some of these other games, in that it’s based around drag racing, compared to the track-based titles. But CSR 2 has more emphasis on customisation and personalisation, and graphics-wise it’s very strong too.
8. F1 2016
Most of the games in this list are free to download, with the usual in-app purchases to get you moving through it quicker. But F1 2016 is different in that, in typical F1 style, you have to pay £7.99 to initially download it. For what you get, though, it’s a great game, with nice graphics, realistic handling and lots of cool features. The person who suggested it even said “it just feels a cut above all other mobile games”. High praise indeed.

CSR 2 is my favorite
Nitro Nation is actually pretty good drag game, you got them JDM and EURO cars and good customization and graphics.
Where is Real Drift?
Thumb Drift: Alex Be Like PHILLLLLL!!!!
I used to like real racing until you level up, you get a couple thousand points per race then the upgrades are super expensive
So true getting $2,000 per race is not enough to buy the next car which costs 1.2 million and buying upgrades use 1/2 of your savings
I’ve recently started playing Nitro Nation after getting a bit bored of CSR2 and I reckon it’s a better game. There are far more customisation options (wheels, body kits and more than one layer of decal) plus you can give your car to a ‘test driver’ who competes in a tournament whilst you aren’t playing and earns rewards for you.
Yes!!! CarX Drift Racing was included. You know the developers of this game are already working for a new game, CarX Highway Racing.
I like PCR but I mostly played Drift Sprits because of the Initial D X Wangan Midnight Collab.Have to play it in Japaneese because its no more in international app stores except Qoo App.
Finally! A list I can relate to.
What about NFS: No Limits?
I’m not sure why but many people think that game isn’t good.
