8 Supercars The Audi TT RS Will Match To 62mph
Believe it or not, the new 395bhp TT RS is able to accelerate as quickly as these exotic supercars
The world’s motoring press let out a collective gasp last week when Audi released its new TT RS. The reason was the performance it’s packing: its 2.5-litre, turbocharged five-cylinder engine is good for a massive 395bhp, making 0-62mph possible in just 3.7 seconds.
It’s that last figure we want to focus on, as it means this jumped-up junior coupe is able to dispatch the benchmark 0-62mph sprint in exactly the same time as some considerably more exotic - and expensive - supercars, including a few from Audi’s own stable:

Its also a list of cars I’d rather have than the new TT RS

Audi’s CEO is like:Now we made a proper Audi!
Can’t wait to see what ABT do to these
Evolution is incredible
It has less cylinders than all of them too i wanna swap that motor in my passat so badly ha
would still pick any car on this list over the tt rs
Can’t wait until these are old enough for all the 17 year old racer boys to afford and think they’re fast…
I love the Zonda, it is my all time favourite car (The Revolucion being the best of them all, Cinque is my favourite road legal version), but, I have to admit, it is the slowest accelerating hypercar of them all… especially the earlier ones with the 7.3L V12
It surely helps when all you have to do is stomp on the throttle and hang on. It’ll be fast in a straight line, but Audis tend to plow through corners, so I’m not sure this would sway me from an M2 with a manual. (And for the record, I drive an Audi).
