An 81-Car Barn Find Is Headed For Auction With Prices Starting At £50
If you thought the recent discovery of 11 unused E34 BMW 5-series was the ultimate barn find, you may wish to take a look at this incredible assortment of vehicles.
It’s an 81-strong fleet of cars found in France which are now being auctioned off individually, and it’s a ridiculously eclectic mix. Perhaps you’d like a Citroen Rosalie van (above), or maybe a Lincoln Continental? On the auction page there is also a pair of Packards, a trio of Lancias and a few brands you’re unlikely to have even heard of.
Exotica rubs shoulders with the humdrum in the bizarre collection. At the high-end of the scale, there are cars like a P400 Lamborghini Miura with an estimate of €400,000 - €600,000 and a Jaguar E-Type with an upper estimate of €60,000, contrasted by a 1994 Peugeot 306 XND. We’re particularly fond of the Trabant, which is expected to go for around €100 -200.
The cheapest vehicles are listed with lower estimates of just €50, and there are plenty of random parts going for peanuts too. One highlight is a polycarbonate Ferrari GTO replica body which could go for as little as €300. You could always convince your boss that it’d make for a great office ornament…
The caveat here is the condition of the vehicles, which ranges from terrible to “that’s not a car, that’s just a pile of rust”. But still, the lots make for intriguing viewing. Take a look and let us know what stands out for you.

I’ll take the front end of that replica GTO as an office desk, ta.
I world probably fancy that Chrysler Imperial C14.
I’ll cruise with ya in one of those Tornado’s.
I donno but that barn is gonna be worth a small mint if someone has time enough to get all those cars back up to showroom fresh….
While the Miura, E -Type, 356 and Rosalie van deserve to be restored, a closer look at some of the cheaper ones shows they’re a bit too far gone.
I reckon the older cars would make the basis for some nice hot rods, something like this Citroen
I’ll take the Rosalie and make a slammed rod
What citroen is that?!
I’ll take the trabant
Ngl the GTO would make for a good sofa or bed.
I would love to have a GTO bed
Them: “Oh yeah I got a full king size bed that is adjustable, got it for $10,000 that I don’t have”
Me: I get to sleep in a f**king Ferrari 250 GTO
Is that Citroen Rosalie Van a custom one?
I can’t find anything else like it online, so it could be a one off. Or maybe it’s been labelled wrong? Looks newer than 1937
I’m a little surprised this is not being auctionned by Artcurial: they did a very good job with the remains of the Collection Baillon, in which there was the famous blue unrestored barn find Alain Delon’s Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder, that got auctionned off for like $15 million euros:

Ill take them all tbh
Oh boy I want that Alfa Romeo
