The Actual 'No Callipers' VW Jetta From Fast And Furious Is For Sale
When we reported that Jesse’s VW Jetta from The Fast and the Furious had sold for $42,000 at auction, there was one detail we couldn’t help but notice: it actually had brake callipers. Yep, the infamous fake drilled brake disc cover things were nowhere to be seen, but that’s because the part of Jesse’s Jetta was played by more than one car. The good news is, if you really want the ‘no callipers’ car (or at least one of them, depending on how many featured in the film), it’s for sale!
Labelled on the slam panel as ‘bullet hit car #1’ it is - as you probably guessed - covered in bullet holes thanks to that nasty incident following the race Jesse lost thanks to VTEC and a $100,000 engine. Or something like that.
Everything under the bonnet of the Jetta on the other hand looks to be thoroughly boggo, although unlike the $42k car, this one has its humble 2.0-litre four-pot hooked up to a five-speed manual rather than a four-speed automatic. There’s a pair of Sparco bucket seats inside, and you even get Jesse’s very own wallet and chain, plus a signature from Chad Lindberg - who played the character - and a certificate of authenticity.
The price for all this? We’ve no idea, as no figure is listed. The $42,000 for the previous F&F Jetta should give you an idea, but we’re not sure if the bullet holes and those fake discs increase or lower the value…

The Jetta is like the fast&furious series - he never stops
Wow. You just made me realize that this….This one stunt vehicle can be taken as symbolism for the franchise.
It’s also very symbolic because they’re always having to work on their cars, and you always have to work on a Jetta.
How am I gonna slow down now?
You dont
Foot brake :P
“the actual no calipers”
These things is going places
Well, it sure can go to places. No guarantees on stopping though.
Looks like the owner is either going to buy calipers fast or destroy that e-brake.
