Alfa Romeo Is Recalling Hundreds Of Cars Over Faulty Brake Fluid
Alfa Romeo has recalled hundreds of new Giulias and Stelvios over a brake problem.
A car’s brakes do tend to need to work properly, but in a few cases here they potentially might not. Alfa has said that it accidentally filled the braking systems on the two models with ‘contaminated’ brake fluid that could eventually damage the brakes.
Alfa says the issue affects a small number of cars built between 14 and 23 November 2017. Owners of affected cars will be contacted directly by the company to start the recall process. Each car will need to be returned to a dealer where the brakes will be checked.
Any car found to have been filled with polluted brake fluid will reportedly be given a completely new brake system. If you own a Stelvio or Giulia built during that window, though, we’d recommend steering clear of any track days for the time being…

Alfa.. Still trying to kill us..
We’ve been to motoring heaven, and the only way you can get there is in an Alfa Romeo.
I Honesty thought it said “Alfa Romeo Is Recalling Hundreds Of Cars Over Faulty Blinker Fluid”
Me too! I was about to comment the exact same thing, I always seem to misread the headlines! 😂
Never change, Alfa.
I reckon they found this in the brake lines after the first recall.
Wait. Does it should be Mariana sauce?
After some time: BMW is recalling hundreds of cars over faulty blinker fluid
Maybe it’s not the brake fluid, did you check the blinker fluid?

meanwhile at FCA headquarters:
We are talking about 307 pcs ONLY!!!
(BMW recalled 1 million car a few months ago! Toyota recalled 10 millions of cars a year ago…)
.
It’s NOT A BRAKE problem, just brake fluid . The wrong specification of brake fluids can damage (fora very a long time of usage) the wires, but doesn’t affect to brake capability!
.
ON the picture there is a Stelvio Quadrifoglio (QV) which use brake-by-wire first in automakers’ history WITHOUT brake fluids!!!
Pleas american journalist be correct.
I mean they barely sold any Giulias anyway so it’s not like it’s a big problem ;)
