A retractable mobile tyre spiking system - that's deployed at the push of a button - could soon be fitted to all cop cars to reduce pursuit times and public risk. What a great invention!

“We’ve never had an officer pushing the button and not getting the car stopped. Ever”

I only could think of the sugabaes when he said that ^^
“Push the button,
I’m busy throwing hints that he keeps missing”

He didn’t miss, he hit the tire

If you play in x0.25 speed you can actually see that he managed to get 1 spike under the tire :) So nope, he didn’t miss.

nfs has better ideas tho… a spikestrip that drops from the back right in front of the car and then pssssssshhh no more wheels.

then you just piss off a bunch of pedestrians that are on the same road.

Nice idea but I don’t think its going to be very effective or practical to use

It’s considerably safer and more efficient than pit manoeuvers and requires the officer to be in the same position (overlapping with the pursued car)
