Allow This Guy To Demonstrate Why You Should Never Run A Red Light

The next couple of days are going to be pretty much wall-to-wall news from the Geneva Motor Show, so here's something completely different

This is the moment an allegedly stolen Ford Focus causes a huge smash at a busy crossroads in a south-eastern suburb of Melbourne, Australia.

A dashcam mounted in the windscreen of a pickup first catches the silver Focus blasting past in the built-up area of Dandenong. The driver then refuses to slow down for the clear red traffic light, ploughing through and getting T-boned by another car.

That slams the Ford into another driver who was innocently waiting to turn at the intersection. It’s carnage as pieces of all three cars litter the street, but the Focus driver is clearly conscious as the men in the pickup spot him trying to escape the car – and justice.

The pickup drives over the smashed car parts and quickly parks next to the dead Focus, at which point we can only assume the footage ends because it involves everyone involved giving the guy in the Focus a, err, stern talking-to.

RIP, three cars with major damage in a single crash, and this was a small intersection! And wait…I think I see a Hawkeye by the corner there…
