Almost Every Car In This GT Race Crashed In One Massive Pile-Up
Big GT3 cars around a tight street circuit like Macau means that there are no small accidents!
The legendary street circuit at Macau is so narrow that if one car crashes, usually everyone behind them is going to crash too.
Big accidents are a pretty common occurrence each year, and the 2017 event has been no exception. In the qualifying race for the GT3 World Cup, Dani Juncadella was running fourth when he crashed his Mercedes at one of Macau’s many tight, blind corners. One driver’s mistake turned into a 16-car pile-up as most of the cars behind him ploughed into the melee.
Unsurprisingly, the race was stopped to clean up the carnage, with only eight cars able to take the restart.

it’s not even funny like why still do races here since it’s so narrow
It may be narrow but they still places to overtake/have good racing . The track itself is very challenging to master . It’s a bit like Monaco . Monaco is very narrow as well but can you imagine an f1 season without a monaco grand prix ?my answer is no
