The AMG Driving Academy Will Put A Gamer In A Real Racing Car
The free online simulator RaceRoom Racing Experience (R3E) is always a great source of online racing competitions, especially those that pay out with tangible prizes, but the latest R3E competition has everyone in a frenzy. Each week, players in the Mercedes-AMG Online Championship will compete in nine online races.
By the end of the championship, four female and four male drivers who have demonstrated excellent driving abilities will be chosen to compete against the eight real world Mercedes-AMG DTM drivers in a live online race. The field will again narrow to two male and two female drivers who will be invited to participate in the AMG Driving Academy.
To qualify to drive a real car, you must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid Class B driver’s license. It is absolutely free to join the competition. If you haven’t already downloaded it, go get RaceRoom Racing Experience free from Steam. Then, visit the Mercedes-AMG Online Race page to get into the Mercedes-AMG C63 DTM and start racing. Let’s see who can stay on top of the leaderboard.

I am definitely going to try this. But even if I do make it (I don’t think I will), I probably don’t fit in any real racecar. 1.96m (6.5”) is taller than any professional rac driver I know of. Taller even than the great Hans Joachim Stuck.
Dan Gurney was close.
Yeah i won’t buy a new computer for that …
AMG trying to compete with Nismo GT Academy. This fast development program for racers is gonna be a game changer in the coming years.
Im just wondering, if one got the best time by using a keyboard control still counts? yay!
Are my chances higher if I use a keyboard to race in this competition?
I would do it if my computer had actualy more than 2g Ram…
