Another Tesla Model S Shooting Brake Is Being Cooked Up
Remember that awesome, part-built Tesla Model S shooting brake we were looking at a few weeks ago? It appears to have some competition.
These design sketches - depicting a wagon-ified Model S - are the work of London-based Dutch designer Niels van Roij and his team, and they’re not hypothetical. Oh no.
The vehicle is set to be built by Dutch coachbuilder RemetzCar, with a launch targeted for 1 March 2018. If these images are anything to go by, it’s going to look stunning in the metal.
There’s no word on pricing yet, but these kind of aftermarket conversions are usually rather pricey. The last Model S shooting brake we were checking out - the work of Norfolk-based coachbuilders Qwest - apparently costs £70,000 to do. And no, that doesn’t include the donor car.
Worth it, though? Quite possibly…
