The Arash AF10 Is A 2080bhp Hybrid Hypercar With 300mph Potential
Say what you want about low-volume supercar companies, they rarely lack ambition. And this latest effort from Arash - the AF10 - is certainly ambitious.
At its heart is a 6.2-litre supercharged V8 - an engine of Arash’s own design - that’s good for 900bhp. Add to that a quintuplet of electric motors, and you have a monstrous 2080bhp. Each motor has its own two-speed gearbox, while the engine can be hooked up to either a six-speed manual or paddleshift transmission.
Considering the car’s construction consists of a carbonfibre tub and carbonfibre reinforced plastic body panels, the AF10 has the potential to be enormously fast. In the press release the 0-62mph and 0-124mph times are listed as “less than” three and eight seconds respectively, while the top speed is said to be “more than 200mph”.
Naturally with 2080bhp on tap, we were curious to know just how far over 200mph. We reached out to company owner Arash Farbound, who said that “we’re certainly looking at the high 200s”, mentioning that - depending on gearing - as much as 300mph could be theoretically possible. That’s enough to make the 270mph achieved by the Hennessy Venom look rather pedestrian, if you could find a suitable place to actually test out the top whack.
Naturally, this all comes at quite a price. You’re looking at £1.1 million for the ‘standard’ AF10, and £1.2 million for the track-focused ‘Racer’ version, which includes a fire extinguisher, roll cage, intercom and various weight-saving measures. You do get a lot of exclusivity for the money, though, with Arash planning to make between five and 10 AF10s this year.
The car will make its public debut at the Geneva motor show next week.

This car: 323km/h (according to Turbo.fr)
Another low-volume “record-shattering” supercar that will never exist.
Is it me or does the back slightly resemble a Ferrari f50?
The whole car looks like a Enzo that was updated for 2016.
Is it just me or it kinda looks like a FXX
Another day, another sham from a nobody manufacturer not even capable of testing the numbers that they won’t achieve with a poor build quality piece of stupidly-rich bait.
THERE ARE MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THINGS THAN SPEED!! I don’t care if it has 900 bhp or even a million. I’d take a fiesta st even over this because controllable power which encourages you to keep momentum and improve your skills as a driver seem much more appealing to me
Miata life.
Thank you
The kind of people who will buy a car like this also own other cars, that aren’t just for speed. Even you have to admit that tremendous speed is still fun when you’re in the mood, and these people will have a car just for that.
As happened with Zenvo when it was tested by top gear , it’s really not all about the paper
“Potential” keyword potential
One million? Screwed that, I’ll go buy a big yacht then. Lol
At least it doesn’t look like something that got recovered after a Lamborghini crashed into an amateur 3D designers class.
So if venom is the rival to the Veyron
Will this be the rival to the Regara?
