Are You Still Watching The Grand Tour?
There have been some Grand Tour episodes I’ve not been too fond of thus far, but the two part Namibia special that’s just been on seemed like a high point. It felt just like ‘old times’, albeit with more budget and a little more swearing.
Clarkson, Hammond and May were at their witty best, the familiar chemistry backed up with some great action, truly epic cinematography and a dash of drama. But here’s the thing: I had to do a little catching up on the series to reach that point, as I’d fallen behind.
This perhaps shouldn’t be surprising: all series - whether they’re on a conventional TV channel or a streaming service - tend to have a decline in viewership after the first episode in a season, and it seems The Grand Tour isn’t immune. There are no viewing figures available from Amazon Prime, but certainly on CT we’ve noticed fewer people talking about the show, and a diminishing interest in the episode trailers when they crop up.
Like I said, nothing unusual: the ‘hype train’ has to depart at some point. But with the first series now a few episodes over the half way point, we thought we’d see how many of you are still keeping up with it, especially since the trio’s switch from TV to online is going to have a big effect on how you consume the content they make.
So, assuming you have been watching the series already, make your voice heard in the polls below, and then let us know your thoughts in the comments.

The special had a few fun moments making me laugh but overall I found it a bit disappointing, especially part 1. Overall I think the show is getting better. Just ditch the American and the celeb brain crash. Reusing a joke is getting old really quick.
And I will also give Too Gear another chance.
As before some moment are brilliant and some are boring, putting in the balance is very good to watch.

Have been watching TGT the day each episode arrives and will continue to
How tf do you get dislikes?
Unpopular opinion here….
I hate all the “environmentalism is unuseful”, and all the animal “killing” they are showing in each episode. We have serious issues, and laughing at them is not a good solution.
You can be a great petrolhead and still be concerned about the place you live, I think.
I mean the rest of the show is great, but there are some things that are not necessary to make it funny.
I like hunting myself , but agree with your opinion that Jeremy’s animal car was past the line
I’ve been watching each episode since the first and Im waiting for Friday to come so the next one can arrive
Definitely.
Gt over to
Totally. New TG is absolute s**t. In fact the one that was getting on my nerves wasn’t Chris Evans, it was Matt Leblanc
One tiny little thing: I haven’t watched The Grand Tour at all.
Just yesterday i realised that i had missed a load of episodes over the xmas period. After my initial excitement from being able to watch back to back episodes, I found myself fighting to stay awake through 2, didn’t finish the last one and switched over soon after.
No matter how many times they say the opposite, it seems more like general entertainment than a car show nowadays.
that why it works, no one are talking about cars anymore evern in Amercia. so Jeremy did the right thing scripting the show done the entertainment route, maybe in 2017 people will like cars again that jeremy response do not force it look at evans who did.
I am and I love it
