This Aussie Racer Slides Backwards Into A Concrete Wall; The Ensuing Destruction Will Shock You
Qualifying for the Aussie Racing Cars series at Sydney Olympic Park took a dramatic turn earlier today, when Brendon Tucker crashed violently.

In this video, Tucker emerges into the scene already backwards, his miniature Ford Falcon smashing into the outer barrier. The car begins to roll, but his speed isn't evident until the tyres dig into the tarmac, sending him into 9 sickening rolls.

As body panels are ripped from the car, the exposed roll cage is the only thing keeping Tucker from serious injury. Its strength is evident as Tucker miraculously escaped unharmed.

The Aussie Racing Car series is a support championship for the V8 Supercars series. The cars are all mechanically identical, running 1.2-litre Yamaha FJ1200 motorcycle engines that rev up to 11500rpm. With a weight of only 450kg, the 125bhp produced by the bike engines is more than enough.

The body styles are miniature caricatures of full-size cars, such as a 1940 Ford Coupe and a modern Holden Commodore.
